Wellbeing in the Wild Garden Workshop

Join artist Carrie Fertig, in the Barn’s Wild Garden for an immersive video workshop. We’ll begin by focusing with brief exercises on the foundations of video – sound and moving image. Then we’ll explore themes and concepts, and create short films through smart phone recordings. Together, we’ll share and discuss our films over a cuppa and cake.

Please bring your fully charged smart phone, a small notebook, two pens, and if you have one, a small tripod or selfie stick.

This event is part of the Health of the Sublime Exhibition. Focusing on the links between experiencing the Sublime in the natural world and how this emotional connection impacts our behaviour in protecting the places we love, Health of the Sublime maps our experience of wellbeing in the natural world through the lens of climate change. The themes and word shared during this workshop may form part of the closing event.
